Spectrum of Mechanical Engineering and Operational Research (SMEOR) is committed to the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of its published scholarly content.
All articles published in SMEOR are made available through the journal's official website and form part of the journal's permanent scholarly record.
In addition, digital copies of published content are archived in the Digital Repository of the National Library of Serbia (ISSN 3042-0288), providing an additional mechanism for the preservation and continued accessibility of the journal's published content.
The purpose of digital preservation is to maintain access to the scholarly record independently of routine changes to the journal's website, publishing platform, technical infrastructure, or organizational arrangements.
SMEOR seeks to ensure that published articles and their associated bibliographic information remain identifiable, discoverable, accessible, and preserved over time through appropriate digital preservation and repository services.
Authors may also preserve and disseminate their work through institutional repositories, subject-based repositories, funder-designated repositories, and other appropriate scholarly platforms in accordance with the journal's Self-archiving Policy.
SMEOR does not impose an embargo period on the self-archiving of permitted manuscript versions or the published Version of Record.
Published articles are assigned persistent bibliographic identifiers, where applicable, to support reliable identification, citation, linking, discovery, and continued access to the Version of Record.
Digital preservation complements the journal's commitment to immediate and permanent open access to published research. Information concerning access to and reuse of published articles is provided in the journal's Open Access Policy.
